Every student of English at the Rijksuniversiteit Groningen can become a member of NUTS.

What are the advantages of being a NUTS member?

Basically, discount. Every member of NUTS receives a NUTS membership card. On showing your membership card, you can either participate for free or get a discount at NUTS activities. Furthermore, if you show your NUTS membership card at Selexyz Scholtens (Guldenstraat 20), you get a 10 % discount on all your study books.

What are the costs?

NUTS membership is valid though your whole studies. You only have to pay once for membership. The costs depend on what year student you are:

First year students € 25,-
Second year students € 20,-
Third year students and higher € 15,-

How do you become a member?

If you want to become a member, you can send an email to info@svnuts.nl, with the subject 'New Member'. The email should contain the following information:

First and last name
Address
Telephone number
Email address
Year of study

Transfer the required sum to 34.62.15.218 in the name of NUTS, Groningen. Make sure that you mention your name and that it concerns payment of membership.

As soon as your information is processed and we have received your money, you are officially a member of NUTS and you will receive an email concerning you NUTS membership card.

If you have finished your studies, or for some reason have aborted them, please let us know. You are obliged to return you NUTS membership card.
